Exposed day 13–Share about the life mottos or quotes that I live by.

Have you been rushing, pushing, and forcing your way through to create the life and business your soul is craving?

Maybe you’ve been telling yourself, “the chaos and struggle will be over soon, just get today’s to-do list done…” but then when the day’s over, the feeling of relief doesn’t come.

You know this is not how you want to live your one, precious life…you just don’t know what to do because you feel like you’ve tried so many things to make it all happen.

You’re exhausted and ready for the peaceful “one day” to be today.

Let me be the first to tell you… your one day is available for you today.

The life quotes I live by help me feel like I have everything I want, which allows me to create and receive with ease… and thrive. I firmly believe they can help you too.

(BTW, all of these are completely interconnected which means they’re not in any particular order, except the order that made sense to my brain this morning.)

  1. Nothing will steal your dream faster than not managing your time or honoring your relationship with yourself.
  2. How you spend your time is how you spend your life.
  3. You are not a mess. Being human is messy.
  4. One day at a time.

Let me tell you a little bit about each one…

Nothing will steal your dream faster than not managing your time or honoring your relationship with yourself.

Generally speaking, when you’re in the thick of building and growing your business, your main focus is making money (aka marketing, lead generation, sales, etc.).

Sure time management is important, but money feels more important at this point in time. So, most people focus most of their time and energy on those areas, neglecting their health, hobbies, joys, relationships, and themselves.

The exhaustion, depletion, stress-filled, joy-less days drag on. You get nowhere fast.

When hustling and grinding to grow your business, after you get there you’re going to say…is this it????

Your dream will not be your dream anymore.

You will have moved on to the next thing.

This lesson I too, learned the hard way. Hitting a major burnout, and many smaller burnouts afterward… I finally got it in my dang stubborn brain that when you *actually* do the opposite, success happens quicker, easier, and feels more fulfilling.

How you spend your time is how you spend your life.

This one is sorta basic, but not.

Your time is your life. Period.

When you think of time management, you probably just think of calendars and planners. But it’s SO much more than those things.

Time management = life management.

What and how you choose to live your one freaking precious life.

It’s not simple, easy, or just a tool.

You are not a mess. Being human is messy.

Most overthinkers, high (or over) achievers, and perfectionists feel like they are a mess.

Especially if they can’t get something as “simple” like time management down. (if this is you, see above).

We feel like we’re a mess for being unorganized or unable to make everything we want to happen, yesterday.

This quote has helped my all-or-nothing brain to realize that I am not a mess. Being a human is complicated, complex, and messy. You can’t organize it. You can’t clean it. You can’t fix it.

Your relationship with yourself, and your humanness, impacts how you perceive, manage, and spend your time. And your perception of time impacts how you see yourself and the world around you.

One day at a time.

And finally, the quote that ties all these up with a pretty bow.

When you pause, sit back in your seat, close your eyes, and lean into the present moment of today… for the majority of us, we start to tap into sufficiency or enoughness.

Hustling and grinding become unnecessary, almost instantly.

You get clarity on how you want to spend this precious moment, day, or week.

Compassion and ease start to relax your body, mind, and heart more.

You open up.

You realize… You. Are. Okay.

You come home.

What you really want (peace, calm, fulfillment, stability) are here, today.

And you begin to understand that the dreams you want are materializing somewhere for you.

This is true time management.
