Here’s why you’re the perfect age to do whatever you want to do.

Exposed Day 11–Assumptions people have made about me in the past?

Have you ever felt like you were too young, too old, or too *something* to do what you do?

Most people think that I’m too young to be giving support and advice to others on how to uniquely manage and make the most of their time, and life. 😂

Even people my own age think I’m younger than I am.

The truth is, it’s quite the opposite.

I’ve been through so many things in my life that makes me the perfect person to be a Holistic time coach.

I grew up with parents who overwork and weren’t present for the little (and some big) moments. They taught me to place my value in what I accomplish and achieve.

I burned out at 18 in college. I was overworking myself, got a severe infection, and had to heal myself back to health.

At 22, I was an engineer in the oil and gas industry full-time, yoga & meditation teacher part-time, planned my wedding, while traveling quite a bit.

… I’ve done so much more in what you’d call this “short” life of mine, and while the external circumstances may be important to others, it’s not to me.

Our bodies and souls don’t adhere to social norms, especially time.

It’s what we know deep down. This is what I know:

  • I know how it feels to think every moment needs to be productive.
  • I know how hard it is to take time off from work, doing, and achieving and just do nothing.
  • I know how easy it is to forget my own needs, inner self, priorities, and core values being too caught up in work, doing, and achieveing.
  • I know how it feels to look at other people who can/are able to do nothing and feel jealous and angry.
  • I know how it feels to seek validation in work and to not know my own inherent worth as a human.
  • I know how easy it is to beat myself up for not being able to do more, be perfect, or even take time off.

Today…In my body and soul, I know what truly living and honoring myself looks and feels like. I don’t have to prove it by external circumstances and timelines.

I know difficult it is to deprogram and heal all that crap holding us back from being living, breathing human beings.

I know that I can help others on their journey of making the most of their precious time and life, and stop feeling like they’re wasting it, because I don’t give time management advice, as in I tell you what to do.

It doesn’t matter if I’m a parent, caretaker, writer, or 45 years old because I help people take away all the layers of conditioning keeping them from spending their time how they want, and discover the compassionate and authentic ways to do everything they want.

In the past I thought I had to prove myself to take up space in the online business world. And sure I’ve got to show people I know what I’m talking about to create trust, but I don’t need to overcompensate.

Or tell myself I’m just too young to follow my dreams.

No matter what age you are. Circumstances you have.

Life is short.

You don’t know what tomorrow holds.

Reassure your brain that you will be okay, and take the next step.

Take that vacation.

Say yes to your life.

PS: I’ll be 26 in a month, and yes I do look like I’m 19. I get carded everywhere I go, but my almost 30 year old husband is my age safety blanket at bars.
